Course Description
The Cadence® Xcelium™ Simulator is a powerful tool for debugging and simulating digital designs. In this comprehensive course, you will thoroughly understand its capabilities and learn to use its advanced features to accelerate your design and verification process. Through a combination of lectures and hands-on labs, you will explore the simulation and debugging features of Xcelium, including waveform viewing and source-level debugging; you will also learn how to leverage Xcelium's parallel simulation features to speed up your verification runs and improve your productivity.
By the end of the course, you will have a solid foundation in using the Cadence Xcelium Simulator and be equipped with the skills you need to tackle complex verification challenges confidently.
Learning Objectives
After completing the certification program, you will learn about:
- Perform design verification and debugging using Cadence Xcelium simulator.
- Simulate and debug designs using the Xcelium simulator. Use xrun with relevant options for Single-Core and Multi-Core modes and identify x-propagation and x-pessimism issues in the early design and verification stage.

"I like that I can watch the training session at my own pace because(...)often it's difficult to balance(...)workload with the training(...)the material(...)looks quite good."
Ferdinando Pace, Sensirion
“(...) it got the job done so far. I came from another simulator, and I wanted a quick way to get to know the utilities in Xcelium. Since it's online, I can skip the parts I already know.”
